Today is the fifth day of Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week. My nephew is currently in the hospital recovering from a surgery related to complications from this disease. I will be departing from the usual themes of this blog in order to address this more important topic, but I need to let his mother preview and correct my draft first. Stay tuned.
